New bird sighting at Moose Acres! I saw a blur fly up into the tree over my feeding area, and thought it was a cardinal - they have been very shy, and hide out just out of camera's view. When I got a look at the bird, it was a bit bigger than a cardinal, and a striking chestnut brown color with speckles. Not a bird I knew right away, so I went to the bird books and found that it was a Brown Thrasher, the first I can recall seeing here. They are showing up regularly now.
